Most of these solar systems were fabricated and installed by us in the early 80's and most are still active today. We put together our own componants based on quality. We welded our aluminum frames, used high temperature insulation, very high rated absorber plates under tempered low iron Solarkleer™ glazing and completed the panels by enclosing and attaching to the roof so that future roofing could be accomplished without removing the panels.

We have some systems that are 40 years old and functioning with little in the way of service. Odds are that new photovoltaic systems will not hold up as well.
